Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole-source contract to Thompson Machinery Commerce Corporation for recurring full-service maintenance and rebuild work on a Caterpillar G3520C natural-gas generator set, radiator system, and connected auxiliary systems. The contractor would provide authorized or certified technicians, labor, transportation, tools, parts, materials, and supervision to perform manufacturer-specified inspections and maintenance, including scheduled battery replacement, radiator cleaning and flushing, coolant and hose replacement, and related service work. The scope includes one standard top-end overhaul and one out-of-frame overhaul, including a top-end overhaul, during the fifth ordering period. This is a sources-sought/intent-to-sole-source notice, not a request for competitive quotes. Interested parties may submit information about their interest and capability, along with a quotation, by email; the Government may use responses to assess whether to compete the proposed procurement.
