Description
Allen Township is soliciting a contractor to construct the Cherryville Road Sidewalk Extension along State Route 3019 in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The work includes sidewalk extension, curb and driveway-apron modifications, excavation, asphalt pavement work, concrete curb and sidewalk installation, subbase construction, grading and restoration, seeding, mailbox relocation, and relocation of post-mounted signs. The contractor must maintain traffic and property access during construction, provide traffic-control devices and flaggers as required, comply with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation standards and Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements, and furnish the required bid security and contract bonds. The project uses unit-price bidding with estimated quantities that are not guaranteed. The successful bidder must substantially complete the work within 60 calendar days after contract times commence and complete the work for final payment within 90 calendar days.
