Description
The County of San Luis Obispo is conducting an RFI to learn about existing commercial property tax systems that could replace its in-house PTAX system and related applications. The County is not seeking proposals or making an award through this RFI, and it is not interested in a custom-developed solution or a rewrite of its current system. It is particularly interested in products with production experience in California counties. The system of interest would support Tax Collector functions, including secured, unsecured, and supplemental billing and collection; delinquency and redemption; prior-year unsecured delinquency; and tax-defaulted property sales. Auditor-Controller functions include roll extension and levy, allocation and apportionment to taxing agencies, direct charges and special assessments, refunds, corrections, and cancellations. The County also seeks information on implementation, data conversion, integrations, hosted delivery, public lookup and payment capabilities, availability, and non-binding pricing ranges. Responses are due by email; the RFI requests product literature and a questionnaire response.
