Description
The U.S. Department of Commerce, through its Office of Facilities and Environmental Quality and Building Management Division, intends to award up to three firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity architect-engineer contracts for comprehensive multidisciplinary services supporting renovation, modernization, repair, and infrastructure improvement projects at the historic Herbert C. Hoover Building. Services may include architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, fire-protection, and environmental engineering; facility planning; utility infrastructure design; cost estimating; condition assessments; failure investigations; testing; stormwater and utility systems; interior renovation design; technical studies; and construction-phase support. Firms must demonstrate capability in the six required disciplines of electrical, mechanical, civil, fire-protection, environmental, and architectural design. Qualification packages will be evaluated on specialized experience, professional qualifications, and past performance under qualifications-based selection procedures; price proposals are not requested. The package must include three relevant projects performed within the past five years and proposed key personnel in SF 330. The estimated cumulative ordering ceiling is $9,889,921.79, with one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. Attendance at one of the mandatory site visits is required, and the second site visit is available only to firms that did not attend the first.
