Description
The Lake Mohegan Fire District is soliciting sealed bids for a snow plowing contract for the 2026/2027 winter season, commencing October 15, 2026 through April 30, 2027. The contract covers snow plowing and sand/magnesium salt application on sidewalks at four fire stations: Hollowbrook Fire Station, Jefferson Valley Fire Station, Furnace Woods Fire Station, and Mohegan Fire Station. Bids must be all-inclusive and include an hourly rate for a dump truck and loader for snow removal if deemed necessary. The contractor is responsible for repairing any damage caused during snow removal and relining parking stoppers. All aprons must be kept free of snow and ice at all times. A certificate of liability insurance must accompany all bids. Bids will be opened at the monthly meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners on September 10, 2026.
