The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is soliciting a two-year Job Order Contract for general engineering construction and related task-order work in San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne Counties within the Hetch Hetchy regional area. Contractors will bid an adjustment factor applied to preset unit prices, and the maximum contract amount is $5,000,000. Potential work includes building, moving, demolition, cathodic protection, earthwork and paving, high-voltage electrical construction, general building and engineering construction, Lenel systems integration, reinforcing steel, remote-operated-vehicle pipeline inspection, solar construction, and trucking and hauling. A Class A California contractor's license is required. The prime bidder must have completed at least three public works projects within the past ten years, each with a minimum construction value of $1,500,000. The solicitation also requires 16% Local Business Enterprise subcontracting participation, documented good-faith efforts unless the stated exemption applies, and successful safety prequalification before the bid is considered complete.
