Description
St. Johns County School District is conducting a non-binding Request for Information to identify qualified law firms capable of providing potential future general counsel services. Respondents are asked to describe their qualifications, Florida legal experience, experience representing school districts or governmental entities, staffing capacity, practice areas, conflicts of interest, key personnel, responsiveness, and approach to legal support. Potential services include contracts and procurement, construction, employment and labor matters, student and employee discipline, Sunshine Law and public records compliance, FERPA and exceptional student education matters, governance and policy development, collective bargaining, litigation and alternative dispute resolution, legislation, real estate and facilities, bond validation, financing, and attendance at School Board meetings and hearings. The response must include firm and personnel information, representative writing samples, references, approach and methodology, other services, and pricing and billing information using the provided form. This RFI is informational and non-binding and does not itself constitute a request for proposal, invitation to bid, or contractual offer.
