Description
The New York Green Bank (NYGB) is seeking proposals from investors to create an Eligible Purchaser Pool (EPP). This pool will consist of pre-approved investors who will be eligible to bid on NYGB-originated loans and investments. The eligibility criteria have been updated to include proposers with adequate capital and operational experience. To be considered a Qualified Proposer, applicants must meet specific requirements, including being an institutional Accredited Investor with a net worth of at least $250,000,000, meeting the SEC's definition of a Qualified Institutional Buyer, or being regulated by relevant federal or state agencies. Additionally, proposers must demonstrate a history of successfully managing their core business without financial distress and possess experience in lending to and managing portfolios of clean energy projects, including processing amendments and waivers. Updates to this solicitation will be posted on NYSERDA's website.
