Description
The Town of Hilton Head Island is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified financial institutions, broker/dealers, and other eligible investment providers to establish an approved pool for future investment transactions involving Town funds. Qualified providers may be asked to quote and execute U.S. Treasury securities, government agency and government-sponsored enterprise securities, certificates of deposit, money market instruments, and other investments authorized by the Town’s investment policy. Services include competitive pricing, market information, trade execution, settlement coordination, and transaction documentation. Responses must describe the firm’s qualifications, regulatory standing, financial condition, governmental and institutional experience, Treasury and agency securities experience, personnel, trading and pricing capabilities, settlement procedures, and regulatory or legal history. The resulting agreement is anticipated to run for three years from execution, with up to three additional years of renewal by mutual written agreement. Qualification does not guarantee any transaction volume or future business.
