Description
The National Cemetery Administration is seeking capability information from firms able to provide janitorial services at five Richmond-area national cemeteries: City Point, Fort Harrison, Glendale, Richmond, and Seven Pines. The requirement covers daily cleaning of eight public restrooms, daily cleaning of the Fort Harrison staffed historic lodge and employee restroom, daily emptying and monthly washing of five exterior trash receptacles, and provision of restroom consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, liners, and soap dispensers. The scope also includes semi-annual lodge cleaning, including interior and exterior windows, carpet and entry-mat shampooing, air-vent cleaning, and floor care. Contractors must furnish labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, supplies, and materials; comply with VA, National Cemetery Administration, OSHA, and applicable environmental and safety requirements; complete daily checklists; and provide safety data sheets for cleaning chemicals. This is a sources-sought/RFI notice for market research only, not a solicitation or request for proposals. The contemplated contract would have a one-year base period with four option years.
