Description
The Capital Region Planning Commission, on behalf of the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Planning Organization, is soliciting proposals for its 2026 Traffic Counting Program. The selected consultant must provide all equipment, materials, and labor needed to conduct accurate traffic volume counts on paved and unpaved roadway segments and intersection turning movement counts at locations identified by the organization. The work must support transportation-network monitoring and regional travel-demand-model calibration and validation, and must comply with applicable federal funding requirements. The organization may adjust roadway-segment count quantities by up to 10% without changing unit costs and may renew the contract. Respondents must meet the minimum qualifications, address all criteria in the full RFP, and submit the required MPO Consultant Submittal Form. The maximum negotiable consultant fee is $185,000.
