Description
The Virginia Department of General Services is soliciting a one-time bid for canned fruit supplies for the Virginia Distribution Center. The requirements include 392 cases each of fruit cocktail in natural juice, diced pears in juice, and pineapple tidbits in natural juice. Products must meet the stated USDA Grade B specifications, including minimum drain weights, packaging requirements, and applicable flavor, odor, and acidity requirements for pineapple. Bidders must state the brand offered and the number of cases per pallet. A USDA grading certificate must precede or accompany delivery, identify the Commonwealth of Virginia as receiver, and state that the product meets Commonwealth of Virginia requirements. Delivery is scheduled for November 5, 2026, and a delivery appointment is required.
