Description
Rancho California Water District is soliciting bids for the furnishing, assembly, delivery, and related technical support for a new deep-set, water-lubricated vertical turbine pump assembly for Well Site 154. The complete system includes the pump bowl assembly, column pipe, water-lubricated line-shaft assembly, bronze retainers with rubber bushings, sounding tubes, engineered suction assembly with stainless steel screen and cone strainer, intermediate and head shafts, vertical hollow-shaft motor, and associated hardware and materials. The equipment must support a design point of 700 gallons per minute at 215 feet Total Dynamic Head, achieve at least 85.5% efficiency at the duty point, meet the specified performance tolerances, and comply with applicable NSF/ANSI 61 material and coating requirements. Installation, construction, well rehabilitation, and physical field labor will be performed by District personnel or others under separate contract. The contractor must provide a qualified representative to observe startup and field performance testing, document conditions and deficiencies, provide technical advisory support, and respond to equipment deficiencies within 48 hours. The bid includes a minimum one-year contractor warranty, quality-control inspection before delivery, warranty documentation, and a detailed technical submittal identifying the proposed manufacturer, model, stages, performance data, operating conditions, materials, dimensions, and bowl data. The estimated delivery timeline is six to eight weeks from contract award.
