Description
Anna Independent School District is seeking proposals for either or both of two network-connectivity categories between its administration building and the future Ora Bell Russell Elementary School: purchased or leased dark fiber, or a leased lit point-to-point Ethernet circuit. Dark-fiber proposals must provide either four strands of single-mode fiber for a lease or at least 48 strands for a purchase, with 40 Gbps capability, LC patch-panel termination, labeling, testing, and turn-key construction. Lit-fiber proposals must provide Ethernet handoffs and a committed information rate of 10 Gbps. The selected provider must deliver the service no later than July 1, 2027, with construction beginning no earlier than January 1, 2027. Pricing must identify one-time, monthly, annual, and incidental charges, and proposals must include the proposed solution and equipment, delivery timeline, technical-support procedures, service-level agreement, sample monthly invoice, and sample contract. Ongoing requirements include maintenance, outage restoration, 99.9% availability efforts, 24/7/365 network operations support, escalation contacts, and incident reporting. The district may award either service category, portions of the proposal, or multiple awards. The procurement is associated with the E-rate program and FCC Form 470 filing for the 2027 funding year.
