Description
The Military Sealift Command is soliciting offers for one clean, approved U.S.- or foreign-flag, double-hull tanker with inert gas and segregated ballast systems, capable of carrying at least 240,000 barrels of clean petroleum products, including F-76 and/or JP-5. The vessel must meet specified limits for age, length overall, deadweight, speed, draft, inspection status, cargo-tank compatibility, certifications, crew composition, reporting, safety, and pollution-prevention capabilities. The approximately 90-day firm-fixed-price charter includes delivery in the Western Pacific/Sea of Japan range, with intended delivery at Onsan, South Korea, and intended redelivery at Hakozaki, Japan. Laydays commence November 13, 2026, and cancel November 14, 2026. Offers must include vessel information, proposed laydays, charter hire and bonus pricing, fuel-consumption data, required representations and certifications, agreement with the solicitation and TANKTIME charter terms, and supporting vessel documentation. The solicitation permits submission by email in Adobe Acrobat PDF format, or alternatively by fax or mail/carriage to the address in SF 1449; email submissions may not exceed 20 MB and must contain a verifiable electronic or scanned handwritten signature.
