The U.S. Air Force, through the 14th Contracting Squadron at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi, is seeking a qualified contractor to serve as the Catholic Religious Education Coordinator. The contractor will provide leadership and administrative support for Catholic religious education programs, events, and resource management; develop sacramental preparation programs, including First Communion, Reconciliation, Confirmation, children's liturgies, and RCIA; coordinate curricula and schedules; manage budgets, resources, publicity, facilities, funds, records, and volunteer programs; recruit and train teachers and volunteers; co-lead Vacation Bible School; and attend specified chapel and parish meetings. The contractor must be active in and knowledgeable about the Catholic faith, demonstrate relevant religious education and program-coordination experience, and submit a resume of no more than five pages with two references no more than two years old. The contractor must complete the Archdiocese of Military Services Catechist Certification Program within six months after award and satisfy child-care background-investigation requirements. The work is a non-personal service performed primarily on site, with limited remote work permitted. The initial contract period is September 28, 2026, through September 27, 2027, with up to four additional 12-month option periods.
