Description
Rockland County's Office for the Aging seeks providers to prepare and deliver daily and bulk home-delivered meals for eligible older adults. Offerings must include standard, therapeutic, Kosher, and other culturally specific meals, with hot, cold, shelf-stable, and frozen options. Proposers may respond to one or both service categories. Meals must meet applicable nutritional standards, including dietary reference intake requirements, and menus must be reviewed by a qualified nutrition professional. Delivery is to be performed by the proposer's employees or volunteers; third-party carriers or drop-shipping may be used where applicable, while the proposer remains responsible for delivery oversight. The solicitation also requires meal plans and sample menus, relevant experience and references, food-safety and inspection documentation, and a list of food suppliers.
