Description
Rockland County seeks a provider to manage and deliver a comprehensive portable meal program for eligible residents aged 60 and older across its five townships. The contractor will coordinate community partners and distribution sites, manage intake and eligibility documentation, and provide balanced frozen meals packaged in five-meal packs. Meals must meet applicable nutritional, menu, food-safety, and regulatory standards, with nutrition professional oversight. The scope also includes staffing and volunteer training, meal reservations, temperature monitoring, reporting, and nutrition education. Proposals must include an executive summary, a detailed technical response addressing the requirements, a value-added considerations section, protected information if applicable, and a separate cost proposal. The contract is for two years with three one-year renewal options.
