Description
Avon Local School District is requesting proposals for Category 2 managed internal broadband services and basic maintenance of existing applicant-owned equipment. The requested scope includes managed services for existing hardware; maintenance of 55 Cisco switches, 19 Hewlett Packard switches, one Fortinet firewall, 358 Aruba wireless access points, and 27 uninterruptible power supply/battery backup units. Proposals must include the applicant name, Form 470 number, Service Provider Identification Number, service provider terms and conditions, and completed pricing in the provided pricing attachment. Pricing must be submitted in XLS or XLSX format, identify E-Rate-eligible and ineligible costs, and categorize fees as Basic Maintenance of Internal Connections or Managed Internal Broadband Services. The applicant prefers a 36-month agreement with two optional annual renewals, may order quantities as needed, and will evaluate cost, understanding of needs, compatibility with the existing network, and past performance. Vendors must certify compliance with applicable FCC covered-equipment restrictions and offer the lowest corresponding price.
