Description
Powhatan County is seeking a qualified, licensed, and experienced contractor for a turnkey 30-by-52-foot wood pavilion at Turner Field. The County will purchase and furnish only the pavilion kit; the awarded contractor must provide all other materials, including foundation materials, electrical components, fans, permits, labor, supervision, equipment, tools, and related services. The work includes pavilion assembly, concrete slab and foundations, underground electrical service, a pavilion subpanel, lighting, ceiling fans, weather-resistant GFCI receptacles, a field pedestal, and batting-cage receptacles, in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and applicable building and electrical codes. The contractor must coordinate inspections, maintain site safety and restoration, provide unit pricing for unsuitable-subgrade removal and additional aggregate base, and submit three construction-project references from the past three years. Payment and performance bonds are required within 10 days after execution of the Builders Agreement. Substantial completion is required within 100 consecutive calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, followed by final completion within 15 additional calendar days. Addendum 1 replaces the preliminary electrical layout and requires acknowledgment of receipt on the bid form.
