Description
Van Alstyne Independent School District is requesting proposals for a fully managed leased lit fiber Internet access solution providing approximately 5 Gbps of bandwidth, with bids requested in 5 Gbps increments. The service will terminate at Van Alstyne High School and support connectivity among three district locations: the District Office, Van Alstyne High School, and Williams Elementary School. The scope includes installation, activation, initial configuration, maintenance, and technical support. Proposals must address bandwidth scalability during the contract term, distinguish eligible from non-eligible services and products, comply with applicable E-Rate and Texas Education Agency procurement requirements, and include an option for voluntary extensions unless the service is month-to-month. The district is interested in a five-year contract, contingent on funding.
