Project: UMC Acute Rehab Center (PWP-CL-2026-268) Location: 800 Hope PL, Las Vegas, NV 89106 Public work: Renovation/construction within an actively operating acute-care hospital; anticipated work may be phased and performed in occupied or adjacent-to-occupied clinical areas. Estimated construction cost: $35,000,000 - $40,000,000 Anticipated construction: January 2027 through June 2028   Anticipated trade packages: Div 2: Demolition, abatement, earthwork, utilities, sewer, paving and landscaping Div 3: Concrete Div 4: Masonry Div 5: Structural steel, metal deck and miscellaneous metals Div 6: Wood and Plastics Div 7: Thermal and Moisture protection, roofing, fireproofing and firestopping Div 8: Doors/frames/hardware, glazing Div 9: Finishes – Drywall, EIFS, ACT, Flooring, paint, wallcovering, specialty finishes Div 10: Specialties – Toilet accessories, partitions, FEC & Cabinets, Corner guards, wall protection Div 11: Equipment – Food service, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, medical equipment Div 12: Furnishings – casework, countertops, window blinds, seating, entry mats Div 13: Special Construction – Clean rooms, cold storage, controlled environment rooms, special-purpose rooms Div 14: Conveying Systems – elevators, elevator controls and finishes, patient lifts Div 15: Plumbing, mechanical piping, HVAC, controls, TAB, insulation, fire sprinklers, medical gas and commissioning Div 16: Electrical, fire alarm, data/telecom, security, nurse call, audio-visual, generators, switchgear, lighting controls, testing and commissioning.   Statutory notice and schedule: This advertisement is issued pursuant to NRS 338.16991. RAFAEL CONSTRUCTION, INC. & SR CONSTRUCTION INC – JOINT VENTURE may accept applications before publication as permitted by statute.   CMAR selection date: June 29, 2026 Deadline for written questions: September 9, 2026 Application deadline: September 11, 2026, 4:00 PM Written determination anticipated: September 16, 2026   Eligibility and minimum submission requirements: •Hold a current Nevada contractor's license under NRS Chapter 624 in the classification appropriate to the proposed work, with a monetary limit adequate for the anticipated subcontract value. •Submit a completed CMAR Subcontractor Prequalification Application containing the information necessary for the CMAR to evaluate the applicant pursuant to the qualification criteria established by NRS 338.16991(4). • Demonstrate financial ability and resources to perform the proposed work and the ability to obtain required payment and performance bonding. •Document safety programs and safety records. •Document performance history concerning recent, similar public or private contracts completed in Nevada, including experience relevant to construction within active or occupied healthcare environments, where applicable to the proposed scope of work. •Identify principal personnel proposed for the Project and provide information regarding their qualifications and relevant experience, including occupied-healthcare experience where applicable to the proposed scope of work. •Submit a truthful, complete, signed, and timely application with required attachments.   Obtaining and submitting the application: Subcontractors must submit the CMAR's prescribed Subcontractor Prequalification Application. Prequalification does not guarantee an invitation for every trade package, a proposal award, or a subcontract.
