Description
Brown County seeks a contractor to modernize one hydraulic elevator at its specified facility. The work includes all required labor, tools, materials, and equipment. Bidders must provide a detailed plan describing the equipment needed, sequence of operation, and removal procedures, and must arrange an on-site visit before submitting a bid. A proposal guaranty is required: either a certified check, cashier’s check, or bank draft for 5% of the bid amount, or a bid bond for 10% of the bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond equal to the contract price after award; this is a post-award requirement.
