Description
Siskiyou County Health and Human Services Agency, Public Health Division, is soliciting proposals for ongoing HIPAA managed compliance services. The selected contractor will provide advisory, governance, documentation, reporting, and coordination support covering the HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rules. The scope includes establishing and maintaining a compliance framework; conducting and updating a structured HIPAA Security Risk Analysis; tracking risks and remediation; reviewing and drafting policies and documentation; advising on technical safeguards such as access management, encryption, logging, vulnerability management, and patching; supporting business associate and vendor oversight; coordinating workforce training; and assisting with incident response and breach preparedness. Deliverables include a risk analysis report, compliance task matrix, policy gap analysis, periodic executive reports, training records, incident-response materials, meeting notes, action logs, and an ePHI asset inventory and data-flow map when information is available. The contractor is not authorized to make hands-on changes to County systems unless separately authorized.
