Description
Jackson County seeks a contractor to construct a 200-by-300-foot steel building with 30-foot eaves. The scope includes site preparation, foundation work to engineered specifications, steel structure erection, roofing, R-13 insulation, and required interior finishes. The building specifications include a 2/12 roof pitch, 26-gauge roof and wall panels, and gutters and downspouts. The contractor must provide stamped foundation engineering, anchor bolts, and erection drawings; the owner will provide permits and offload the building. No interior slab is required. A separate price is requested for optional pier foundation construction. Proposals must include a company profile, relevant experience, a project plan and timeline, detailed pricing, proof of appropriate licenses and insurance, and a health and safety plan. At least three references from similar projects completed within the last five years are required. Proposals are due November 25, 2026, and may be submitted electronically as PDFs or by mail.
