Description
Spring Branch Independent School District is soliciting turnkey proposals for a districtwide wireless infrastructure upgrade. The scope includes design and installation of new IEEE 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 access points throughout district facilities, including indoor high-density areas and outdoor coverage, with support for tri-band operation, Multi-Link Operation, WPA3-Enterprise, centralized management, monitoring, analytics, firmware and lifecycle management, required software and subscriptions, gateways or controllers, mounting hardware, and removal and delivery of existing equipment. Aruba AP-735, AP-755, AP-765, and AP-764 models or functionally equivalent equipment are specified for applicable environments. The project also includes structured Category 6A and fiber-optic cabling, testing, cabinets, pathways, labeling, documentation, configuration, knowledge transfer, formal training, coverage and throughput validation, and a pilot of up to 90 days at one high school. Work in classrooms must occur after school hours. Proposals must include an implementation schedule, master service agreement, terms and conditions, testing procedures, service-level guarantees, and applicable equipment and licensing costs. The project is expected to be completed within 180 days after written notice to proceed, unless otherwise approved, and the district may renew awarded contracts for up to two consecutive one-year terms.
