Description
Indianapolis Public Schools is soliciting proposals for high-bandwidth metropolitan area network services connecting up to 62 campuses to the John Morton-Finney Center for Educational Services. The provider must furnish and maintain service-provider-owned demarcation equipment with standard IEEE Ethernet interfaces, minimum site bandwidth of 1 Gbps, scalability up to 40 Gbps, power conditioning and UPS capability providing at least eight hours of backup power, 24/7/365 availability, outage response, support, and a real-time monitoring and ticket-tracking portal. The proposed network must be fully installed, tested, and operational by June 15, 2027, before the July 1, 2027 contract and billing start date. The initial term runs from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2032, with possible extensions in 12- to 60-month increments through June 30, 2039. Proposals must include specification and contract forms, pricing, technical architecture, service and support information, references, contractual terms, and an implementation plan. The solicitation is subject to E-Rate requirements, including a valid Service Provider Identification Number, Lowest Corresponding Price compliance, and restrictions on equipment from entities designated as national security risks.
