Description
The Indiana Department of Administration, acting on behalf of the Indiana State Library Consortium, seeks one or more providers for statewide Internet access and WAN connectivity serving approximately 144 public library systems and roughly 255 locations. Required connectivity ranges from 10 Mbps to 10 Gbps per site for Internet access and up to 2 Gbps for WAN services, with scalable symmetrical bandwidth, guaranteed throughput, no data caps or metered-use speed reductions, and support for existing fiber and quality-of-service technologies. The scope includes customer-premises equipment such as routers, switches, and circuit terminations; installation and configuration; equipment training for each participating library; 24/7/365 network monitoring and customer support; a service-level agreement with 99.99% network availability; reporting, consulting, E-Rate assistance, and a dedicated account manager. Optional services include firewall, filtering, bandwidth shaping, disaster recovery, Web hosting, VoIP, email hosting, LAN diagnostics, and related engineering and cross-connect services. The State intends to award a four-year contract with no renewals, contingent on receiving E-Rate funding.
