Description
Inyo County Office of Education is requesting proposals for dedicated point-to-point data services at 1,000 Mbps and 10,000 Mbps, including connectivity between its office in Independence and schools in Bishop. The solution must use in-ground fiber, remain within Inyo County, terminate at the specified demarcation points and MDF locations, and provide single-mode fiber handoffs with all necessary provider-furnished equipment. The scope includes service migration or porting, installation and one-time connection costs, network equipment, 24/7 monitoring and maintenance, and an industry-standard service-level agreement with specified availability, packet delivery, latency, and repair-time objectives. Proposals must include itemized eligible and ineligible pricing, growth pricing, a signed multi-year service agreement, respondent information, references, qualifications, an implementation plan if applicable, and the completed General Acknowledgement form. The requested contract structure is a three-year initial term beginning July 1, 2027, with two optional one-year extensions.
