Description
Caney Independent School District 26 is soliciting bids for Category 2 internal-connection services and equipment. The scope includes one network switch with necessary software and licenses, one UPS/battery-backup system with necessary software and licenses, and five wireless access points with necessary software and licenses. Installation and initial configuration are required for the new internal-connection equipment, and all wireless access points must be compatible with the district’s existing UniFi Cloud Controllers. Functional equivalents are acceptable, but refurbished equipment and equipment from manufacturers identified as national security threats by the FCC are prohibited. The solicitation also includes basic maintenance for one switch and five wireless access points, as well as managed internal broadband services for existing equipment. Bidders must submit a complete hardware-project bid, provide compatibility documentation unless bidding the preferred make/model, participate in the E-Rate program, include a valid SPIN, identify all applicable fees and taxes, and provide the required C2 Cover Page. Attendance at one of two mandatory site visits is required for bid eligibility.
