Description
Round Rock Independent School District (RRISD) is seeking proposals for comprehensive glass installation and repair services. The scope includes replacing broken doors and windows with safety laminated or tempered glass only; plate glass and wire glass will not be used. Services also encompass the installation and replacement of mirrors, glass trophy cases, glass shelves, and glass tabletops. The contract will be effective from the date of award through November 30, 2030. Contractors must exercise caution when working on campus due to the presence of students and staff, and all work must adhere to National, State, and Local codes. Labor must be performed by experienced glaziers with a minimum of five years of experience, and all work must be completed in a neat and orderly manner, in accordance with industry standards. Materials used must be of high quality, and any necessary permits will be covered by the District. A minimum one-year warranty from the date of substantial completion and acceptance by the District is required for all equipment and parts.
