Description
Shoals Community School Corporation is soliciting Internet access and data transmission services with symmetrical bandwidth of approximately 1 Gbps, scalable to approximately 2 Gbps, and guaranteed throughput to its head-end. The service must include approximately 16 public IPv4 addresses, pricing for additional IPv4 addresses, and a fiber handoff with any necessary provider-owned onsite equipment. Proposals must describe the pathway from the provider’s point of presence to the applicant’s point of entry, including any third-party leased lines and available resiliency features. Respondents must provide complete recurring and nonrecurring pricing by service tier, separate eligible and ineligible services, a proposed SLA with 99.99% network availability efforts, packet-loss, latency, jitter, 24/7/365 trouble reporting, and two-hour diagnosis and four-hour temporary or permanent repair commitments. Proposals must also include service reporting, construction or installation details and timelines, three similar-service references, the provider’s E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract incorporating the stated E-Rate contingencies. Optional separate pricing may be provided for advanced firewall, DDoS protection, CIPA-compliant filtering, and IPv6 services.
