Description
Macon-Bibb County is soliciting an operator for a full-service restaurant and corporate aircraft catering concession at Middle Georgia Regional Airport. The operator must provide lunch and dinner, including an affordable lunch menu, and describe its restaurant concept, menu, operating hours, staffing, service standards, food-safety practices, and day-to-day operating plan. Breakfast is preferred but not mandatory. The proposal must also explain aircraft catering procedures, delivery coordination, packaging, menu options, service levels, and any use of third-party caterers. Proposals must address the restaurant and catering experience, capital investment and equipment needs, financial capacity, proposed rent and percentage of gross sales, marketing, regulatory compliance, and an implementation schedule. The anticipated initial term is five years, with renewal options to be specified in the final agreement. The solicitation package includes a fee proposal form and required qualification, subcontractor, minority participation, financial and legal stability, insurability, debarment, non-collusion, vendor application, W-9, and E-Verify materials. The RFP also requires at least three years of relevant service experience and a Georgia business license. The addendum changes the pre-proposal conference to November 18, 2026, and the questions deadline to November 20, 2026; the RFP's original conference and question dates are superseded.
