Millstone Township is seeking a full-time Technical Assistant to serve as a key point of contact for residents, contractors, and design professionals. The primary responsibilities include receiving and reviewing construction permit applications, assisting in the issuance of permits, coordinating and scheduling inspections, processing payments, and maintaining detailed records to ensure compliance with Uniform Construction Code (UCC) requirements. Applicants with a Technical Assistant license issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs are preferred. Essential skills include strong customer service and communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and experience with GovPilot is considered a plus. Millstone Township offers a supportive work environment and a competitive salary ranging from $40,000 to $50,000, commensurate with experience.
