Description
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Disposition Services is soliciting offers for excess property management services in Qatar. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services. The requirement includes labor, personal protective equipment, and maintenance for various equipment, including material handling equipment (MHE), vehicles, and demilitarization equipment. The contractor will be responsible for receiving, reutilization, transfer, donation, demilitarization, and disposal of excess property. Services are required for a nine-hour day, five days a week, with potential for weekend work with advance notice. The contract will have a base period of 12 months and two 12-month option periods, with an estimated 22 personnel required, expandable up to 200% for surge activities. The contractor must be registered in the Joint Contingency Contracting System (JCCS) and all quotes must be in U.S. Dollars. Past performance will be a significant evaluation factor, with an emphasis on experience in the U.S. CENTCOM Area of Responsibility. The solicitation also details requirements for Common Access Cards (CACs), security, and contractor personnel.
