Description
The U.S. Coast Guard seeks a sole-source, OEM-based contractor to open, inspect, report on, repair, overhaul, test, preserve, package, mark, and deliver Allied Systems DDP11000CTS Dual Point Davits. The work includes structural, hydraulic, electrical, and non-destructive inspections; replacement of fasteners, seals, bearings, bushings, hoses, and other components; installation of a constant-tension upgrade and machinery-space camera system; ABS/SOLAS certification validation or renewal; coatings and corrosion protection; and extensive static, dynamic, hydraulic, operational, recovery, and safety testing. Reclaimed, recycled, and aftermarket parts are prohibited. The contractor must provide receiving, parts-renewal, inspection, and test reports; maintain calibrated and NIST-traceable test equipment; support Coast Guard quality-assurance witnessing; and meet detailed preservation, MIL-STD-2073-1E packaging, marking, bar-coding, and shipping requirements. Quotes must include pricing for all CLINs across five ordering periods and a six-month extension, an OEM standard warranty, technical capability information, recent relevant past-performance references, and specified certifications and supporting documentation.
