Description
Sacramento County, through its Department of Airports, is seeking qualified construction manager-at-risk firms for an approximately 20,000-square-foot pre-engineered steel airfield maintenance facility at Sacramento International Airport. The facility will house maintenance equipment, vehicles, materials, and administrative functions supporting airfield operations and is intended to accommodate future growth. Respondents must be able to provide adequate bonds and insurance, hold a current California Class B or higher contractor license, be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations for public works, and demonstrate experience with CMAR or Guaranteed Maximum Price delivery, government and public works projects, and delivering similar projects within budget and schedule. Experience in secure public areas, operational public settings, and complex equipment replacement projects is desired. The selected firm will submit a Statement of Qualifications through the electronic procurement portal; the solicitation also requires FAA Buy American compliance certifications and vendor qualification information.
