REQUEST FOR BIDS NOTICE The Purchasing Agent, County of Dutchess, Poughkeepsie, New York, hereby invites the submission of sealed bids for: Bid #RFB-DCP-83-26 Natural and Processed Sands and Gravels, Crushed Stone Aggregate, and Run of Bank Gravel Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on the 9th day of September 2026 at the Dutchess County Division of Central Services, 378 Violet Avenue, Suite 2, Poughkeepsie, New York 12601. Description
Dutchess County is soliciting sealed bids from suppliers for natural and processed sands and gravels, recycled subbase material, mortar, grout and concrete sands, screened gravel, crushed stone in multiple sizes, stone filling, bedding and cushion materials, screened topsoil, cobblestones, and run-of-bank gravel. Materials must comply with the applicable New York State Department of Transportation specifications and the solicitation's material-specific requirements, including source certifications and documentation for certain recycled or processed materials. The County may award multiple contracts or purchase orders by item or category, with no guaranteed minimum or maximum purchase. Pricing must be submitted per U.S. ton or cubic yard, with supplier and material-source information included. The contract term is one year from award, with two additional one-year renewal options.
