Description
Jackson County, Mississippi is soliciting unpriced proposals to prequalify vendors for the supply of lumber and related materials. Vendors meeting the requirements in the bid package will be invited to participate in an online reverse auction, where pricing will be received only from approved bidders. Proposals may be submitted through the bid site, by sealed envelope, or by electronic submittal as permitted by the bid package. The procurement is expected to be funded by Jackson County and is subject to Section 31-7-13 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended. Minority- and women-owned business enterprises are solicited as prime bidders and encouraged to inquire about subcontracting and supply opportunities.
