Description
The City of Moss Point is soliciting bids for approximately one mile of roadway construction and improvements along the Interstate 10 corridor. The work includes drainage, curb and gutter, striping, utility upgrades and installation, and all related labor, equipment, materials, and work required by the contract documents. Construction must comply with the Mississippi State Highway Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 2017, including applicable amendments, special provisions, and addenda. A bid security equal to 5% of the total bid price is required in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or bidder's bond from a surety licensed in Mississippi. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. The project is federally aided and may be funded in whole or in part through the RESTORE Act; applicable federal labor, disadvantaged-business, minority-business, and women's-business requirements apply.
