Description
The City of Modesto is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide wastewater system flow monitoring services. The project involves the installation of up to 50 flow monitors in manholes throughout the city's wastewater collection system, with approximately 42 predetermined locations and up to eight additional preferred locations to be inspected. The consultant will be responsible for continuous data collection at 5-minute intervals over a four-month period during the winter and spring of 2027, capturing wet and dry weather flows. Deliverables include site assessment forms, field calibration documents, raw and refined data in graphical and tabular formats, rain gauge data, and a comprehensive Flow Monitoring Report. The project is expected to last approximately one year, including data analysis and coordination with a Wastewater Master Plan consultant. The consultant must also handle permitting, project management, and ensure ADA compliance for the final report.
