Description
The Alabama Department of Public Health is soliciting quarterly floor-care services for approximately 25,891 square feet at the Calhoun County Health Department. The work includes providing all labor, equipment, and supplies; stripping and recoating all VCT and luxury vinyl flooring with at least two coats of wax; cleaning baseboards during the stripping process; and steam-cleaning all carpeted areas. Furniture must be removed and replaced as needed, and the exact service dates will be determined later. A mandatory site visit was scheduled for September 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Vendors that did not attend the site visit will not be considered. Subcontracting is strictly prohibited; the work must be performed by the owner or legal employees of the awarded supplier. The solicitation is identified as the third round due to budget restrictions, and the agency reserves the right not to award based on available funding.
