Description
The City of Homestead is seeking a qualified, experienced, and licensed Florida contractor to perform interior remodeling of the community room at JD Redd Park. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, permits, supervision, transportation, traffic control, and incidentals required for the project. Work includes demolition and disposal of existing flooring, baseboards, cabinets, countertops, hardware, and accessories; subfloor preparation; installation of new flooring, transitions, baseboards, cabinets, countertops, hardware, and accessories; painting of interior walls, ceilings, repaired areas, and trim; protection of adjacent areas; cleanup; and closeout documentation, including warranties, product data, and maintenance information. Specified finishes include Arborite laminate manufacturer substitutions using Formica, with Ebony Oxide countertop and Amber Maple door finishes. The federally assisted CDBG project requires compliance with Davis-Bacon prevailing wages, certified payroll reporting, applicable federal provisions, and relevant state and local requirements. Quotes will be evaluated on price and other factors, including qualifications, licensing, similar experience, schedule, mobilization time, and ability to complete the work. Final completion is required within 60 days after issuance of the purchase order.
