Description
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting bids for UPS battery and capacitor replacement services and ongoing UPS service and maintenance. The work includes supplying, shipping, removing, replacing, and recycling specified UPS batteries; replacing capacitors with original-manufacturer-recommended parts; and providing warranty coverage for parts and services. The solicitation identifies Eaton, Toshiba, APC, CSB, and Narada UPS equipment and requires the contractor to provide full-service parts-and-labor coverage or preventive-maintenance-only coverage with four-hour emergency response available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The contractor must perform quarterly and annual preventive maintenance, respond to routine service calls within four hours and emergency requests on-site within one hour, and provide labor, tools, transportation, equipment, materials, and supplies. The initial contract runs from the date of award through August 31, 2027, with two optional one-year renewals and a possible one-year extension. Responses must include the completed HHS Solicitation Affirmations and Pricing Sheet, warranty documentation, and any other required response materials identified in the solicitation.
