Description
Anderson County Schools is soliciting proposals for a wide area network solution connecting five district facilities at speeds of 10 Gbps or higher, with expandability up to 100 Gbps. Vendors may propose leased lit fiber, leased dark fiber, or separate proposals for both solutions. The scope includes fiber installation, termination materials, network connectivity, right-of-way and permitting responsibilities, pole attachments, traffic control, and required design documentation. The resulting contract is for a five-year term through June 30, 2032, with proposed service beginning July 1, 2027. The provider must have services fully operational before the start date, provide repair response within four hours or less, and support VoIP and streaming video. Proposals must include detailed distance and fiber-layout information, installation and recurring costs, support and maintenance pricing, monthly payment schedules, and references for projects of comparable size. Managed-service proposals require a Service Provider Identification Number.
