Description
Kern County is soliciting bids for 31 new, unused, current-model-year Ford F-150 4-door, 4x4 pickups with a Police Pursuit Package and short bed. The solicitation specifies vehicle performance, safety, equipment, and configuration requirements; bidders must complete and return the vehicle specification sheets, signing every specification sheet and identifying any exceptions. Substitutions are not permitted, although the specifications allow acceptable equivalents where stated and require supporting specifications and illustrations for an equivalent item. Bidders must provide unit and total pricing, applicable fees and taxes, payment terms, delivery timing, and warranty information. In-stock vehicles are to be delivered immediately after receipt of the purchase order; in-transit vehicles must be delivered within 90 days. An optional extended-service maintenance package may also be priced. The County may make an award to one vendor or split the award among vendors.
