Description
The City of Somerville is requesting proposals for Category One broadband internet access with incremental pricing from 10 Gbps through 25 Gbps, including static IP addresses and all costs required to connect to and work with the applicant’s LAN. The solicitation also requests one leased on-premises router for internet access, with installation and initial configuration. Proposals must include detailed pricing, a project timeline, a network diagram, and a proposed service-level agreement. The requested contract structures include month-to-month service, a one-year term with up to four voluntary annual renewals, a 36-month term with up to two voluntary annual renewals, or a 60-month term. Vendors must provide valid FCC Form 498 ID and FCC Registration Number information, evidence of FCC Green Light status, three similar projects completed within the last five years, three corresponding references, relevant employee certifications, and required pricing and certification forms. The completed proposal package must be combined into one PDF and uploaded through the Bonfire portal.
