Description
DHA, Housing Solutions for North Texas is requesting proposals for as-needed make-ready services to prepare vacant and, when requested, occupied residential units for occupancy. The scope includes drywall repair, taping, bedding, texturing, painting, door and hardware repairs, fixture installation, cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, trash removal, plumbing and electrical repairs, cabinet work, resurfacing of tubs, tile, countertops, and vanities, and related maintenance services. DHA will furnish certain supplies, including paint and cleaning solutions. The contractor must begin requested work within 24 hours of notification and complete it within 72 hours after starting. Work includes final cleanup and a walkthrough with DHA staff. Proposals must include a letter of interest, understanding of the scope, qualifications, work plan, experience, company profile and staffing information, quality-control documentation, pricing, and the required completed forms. DHA may award multiple contracts and intends to use a one-year contract with two additional one-year renewal options.
