Description
The North Texas Municipal Water District awarded a contract to Northwest Pipe Company for the procurement, storage, and delivery of approximately 62,300 linear feet of 48-inch cement-mortar-lined, polyurethane-coated welded steel water pipe. The scope also includes steel casing pipe for tunnels and miscellaneous cement-mortar-lined, polyurethane-coated steel pipe and fittings for connections to existing pipelines at each end. The pipe manufacturer was to assume that the contractor would use two pipe-laying crews working from the north side of the project toward the south.
