Description
Avoyelles Parish School Board is soliciting a construction contractor for improvements at Avoyelles High School. The work includes cleaning and closed-circuit television inspection of the existing storm drainage system; storm drainpipe repairs; installation of new drainage structures and piping; pavement demolition; asphalt and reinforced concrete paving; sidewalk replacement and repairs; pavement markings; temporary traffic control; seeding and fertilization; and related earthwork and mobilization. The project is phased around school operations. Storm drain cleaning and inspection must be completed by November 13, 2026; entrance and exit drive improvements are scheduled for November 21–30, 2026, with paving completed no later than December 4, 2026; and drop-off and parking-area improvements must be completed no later than December 18, 2026. The contract provides for substantial completion within 30 calendar days and final completion within 75 calendar days after the Contract Times commence. A bid must include five-percent bid security, and the successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds, each at least equal to the Contract Price, plus required insurance.
